摘要： A cord closure for securely retaining flexible cord, drawstrings, and the like in a selected position includes a plunger member, a compression spring, a retaining ring, and a body housing. There is provided means for initially holding the plunger sub-assembly in a pre-assembled position with the spring being compressed so that the holes of the plunger member and body housing can be readily aligned for insertion of a cord. Once the cord is threaded through the aligned holes, the plunger member is depressed downwardly and released to allow the spring to expand and urge the plunger member to move up axially, thereby locking the cord between the plunger member and the body housing.

摘要： A door closure mechanism for use upon a door of a cabinet includes a housing formed from two co-mating first and second members, a drive cam rotatably mounted within the housing, a cam follower mounted within the housing for reciprocating movement relative to the drive cam, and a coil spring mounted within the housing for resiliently biasing the cam follower in a reciprocal manner against the drive cam. The drive cam is formed with cam surfaces which radially engage the cam follower so as to control the relative reciprocal movement of the cam follower with respect to the drive cam. As a safety feature, ther is provided a set of spring pre-load clips which engage the ends of the coil spring so as to prevent full decompression of the coil spring in the event of a housing failure.

摘要： A kit for retrofitting a plumbed eyewash station is provided. The plumbed eyewash station includes a basin and an outlet pipe mounted within the basin. Prior to retrofitting the plumbed station, the outlet pipe is used to dispense water delivered thereto by a facility's plumbing system. The retrofitting kit includes a nozzle support and a self-contained eyewash fluid delivery system. The fluid delivery system includes a portable container and a nozzle in fluid communication with the container. The portable container contains eyewash fluid. To retrofit the plumbed station, the nozzle support is mounted to the outlet pipe; the portable container is placed on a support surface above the nozzle support; and the nozzle is mounted to the nozzle support. The kit preferably includes an activation door and an actuation strap. The activation door is rotatably mounted to the nozzle support, and the actuation strap extends from the nozzle. During the retrofitting process, the activation door is closed to cover the nozzle, and the actuation strap is fastened to the closed activation door. The retrofitted eyewash station dispenses the eyewash fluid emanating from the portable container instead of from the facility's plumbing system.

摘要： A method and apparatus for webbing retention and adjustment that includes a body member having opposing side members interconnected by first and second transverse members. A resilient projecting member extends upwardly from a lower portion of the body member and includes a front side portion biased toward the second transverse member and engageable with a portion of the webbing between the second transverse member and the resilient projecting member so as to increase the friction on the webbing and prevent slippage of the webbing in at least one direction with little or no tension on the webbing. The resilient projecting member is flexible away from the second transverse member to at least partially disengage the webbing and ease adjustment of the webbing by reducing the friction on the webbing and reducing the webbing release angle required to adjust the webbing. The body member may be configured as a unitary plastic buckle with a third transverse member interconnecting the opposing side portions wherein a portion of the webbing is looped around the third transverse member and secured to itself by stitching or other means known in the art, or as part of a buckle system with mating male and female portions.
