    • A refrigerant suction guide structure of a reciprocating compressor is provided. The refrigerant suction guide structure includes a cylinder having an accommodating space inside, a piston having suction channels through which refrigerant is inhaled inside and inserted into the cylinder to be in a linear reciprocating motion, a suction valve included in the end of the piston to open and close the suction channels, and a valve fixing member for combining the suction valve with the piston. The suction channels of the piston include inclined surfaces for guiding refrigerant to the outside in which the suction valve is first opened. The suction channels are formed so as to be inclined to reduce flow resistance of inhaled refrigerant such that the amount of the inhaled refrigerant is increased. Therefore, it is possible to improve the efficiency of a compressor.

    • A refrigerant suction guide structure of a reciprocating compressor is provided.     • A reciprocating compressor includes a case having a gas suction pipe and a gas discharge pipe. A frame unit is installed in the case and a compression unit, including a cylinder is installed in the frame unit. The compression unit has a plurality of slots formed in a longitudinal direction on its outer circumferential surface. A piston is coupled with a reciprocating motor so as to linearly and reciprocally move into and out of the cylinder and has a plurality of through holes formed at its outer side, communicating with the slots. The compression unit has a gas muffler member installed at an outer circumferential surface of the cylinder.

    • A freezing cycle apparatus having quick freezing and thawing functions which is capable of implementing a quick freezing function of foods using an auxiliary evaporator installed in a freezing cycle apparatus, dividing a freezing chamber of the refrigerator into a quick freezing chamber and a common refreezing chamber, and using the thusly divided quick freezing chamber.
