摘要： In an arrangement for jointing together adjacent pieces of floor covering material, mutually facing edge portions of the pieces in a joint are profiled such that the one piece has a groove-shaped accommodation space in which a corresponding bead-shaped projection on the other piece may be accommodated. The one piece has a flocking which is disposed for holding together adjacent pieces. The profiling has, besides the accommodation space and the projection, mutually facing surfaces on both pieces, at least one of these surfaces being flocked. The flocking or flockings are located outside the defining surfaces of the accommodation space and the projection.

Two supporting elements (7), forming extensions of the higher sidewalls (4), extend downwardly from the bottom (3) and terminate in straight horizontal edges (8). The crate thus has an H-shaped profile. At the upper parts of the higher sidewalls (4) stacking elements are provided which comprise on the one hand shoulders (9) adapted to support the supporting elements (7) of another crate (2) stacked from above, and on the other hand projections (10) which extend upwardly from the higher sidewalls (4) and along the whole length thereof, and extend at the corners of the crate (1) by means of short sections (11) a short way along the lower sidewalls (5). In accordance with the invention the projections (10) are adapted to surround outwardly the supporting elements (7) of another crate (2) stacked from above. 摘要： A conveyor moves empty containers for single-piece goods one-by-one below an openable bottom on which successive accumulations of the goods are supported. A device for holding an empty container is raised by a control system from a lower position adjacent the conveyor to an upper position below said bottom, the control system being operable to impart to said device with a container thereon a dampened and continuous downward movement from its upper to its lower position in response to falling of a said accumulation against the container when said bottom is opened. The control system includes a valve having a first position for supplying compressed air to one side of a plunger-cylinder assembly to raise said device, a second position for supplying compressed air to the other side of said assembly to hold said device in its upper position, and a third position for venting said one side of said assembly to effect said continuous downward movement.
