    • A fan has a plurality of blades extending in a radial direction with respect to a rotation axis and a ring portion disposed on radial outside edges of the blades. Further, the fan has a first connecting wall and a second connecting wall. The first connecting wall extending from the ring portion to a portion of the radial outside edge of each blade, the portion protruding from the ring portion toward an upstream position with respect to an air flow direction. The second connecting wall has a generally triangular shape. The second connecting wall continuously extends from the first connecting wall and connects to the ring portion on a leading side of the first connecting wall with respect to a rotation direction of the blade. The fan is for example housed in a shroud, thereby to construct a blower unit.

    • A blower device for a vehicle includes at least two blowers having fan shafts arranged in parallel with each other, a single motor for driving and rotating the blowers, and a shroud for holding the two blowers. The motor includes a motor portion and a motor shaft driven by and extending from the motor portion. The shroud has shroud ring portions each of which has a circular shape to cover an outer peripheral portion of the blower, and a shroud plate portion extending from the shroud ring portions to an outside. Furthermore, the fan shafts of the blowers are coupled to the motor shaft via a gear portion, and the motor portion is attached to the shroud plate portion to be offset from a center connection line connecting the centers of the shroud ring portions.

    • An electric fan system for a vehicle including two electric fans (10, 20) arranged in parallel in a vehicle width direction so as to blow cooling air to a radiator (100) and a condenser (110), wherein the electric fans are driven by a brushless motor (12) and a brush motor (22), a first drive voltage V1 for driving the brushless motor is set so as to increase in accordance with an increase of a water temperature (Tw) of the radiator or a coolant pressure (Pc) of the condenser, and simultaneously a second drive voltage V2 for driving the brush motor is set so as to increase monotonously as a value lower than the first drive voltage, whereby the two electric fans can operate simultaneously at all times, unevenness of the distribution of the flow rate can be reduced, and the drive voltage of the brush motor is reduced, so the lifetime can be extended and, further, provision is made of an electronic control unit (40a) for preferentially operating the electric fan (10) driven by the brushless motor over the electric fan (20) driven by the brush motor based on the temperature of the engine cooling water and the electric fan (10) driven by the brushless motor is designed to cool by cooling air other vehicle-mounted parts besides the radiator (100) and the condenser (110), specifically for example the ECU box (410).

    • A blower includes two contrarotating axial fans located to be rotated reversely with each other in accordance with rotations of its rotation shafts arranged on an axial line. In the blower, a rotation drive shaft of a motor is coupled to the rotation shafts of the axial fans through a gear portion, and the gear portion is housed in a gear box. Each of the axial fans includes a boss portion having a recess shape opened in an axial direction of the axial fan, and a plurality of blades located radial outside of the boss portion. Furthermore, the axial fans are located such that the recess shapes of the boss portions are opposite to each other, and the gear box is located between the boss portions of the axial fans, and is covered by the boss portions from two sides in an air flow direction of the axial fans.
