The backlight module uses a projection formed on the mold frame and a retention section formed in the backplane to mate the projection through interference fitting pawl section so as to fixedly mount the mold frame to the backplane through interference-fitting connection thereby showing a simple structure, being easy to assemble, effectively saving time, and thus controlling the cost.

Ultraviolet light irradiation within the wavelength range of 300-360 nm avoids the absorption band of the liquid crystal material, which reduces the damaging effects of ultraviolet light on liquid crystal material and alignment material of polyimide (P1), and improves the efficiency of the polymerization reaction and uniformity of the polymerizable monomer.
