    • Provided are a flash memory management apparatus and method which divide blocks of a memory into data blocks and i-node blocks and respectively specify storage paths of data, which is stored in the data blocks, in the i-node blocks in order to easily access pieces of the data by searching the i-node blocks. The flash memory management apparatus includes a map search module searching for a map block located at a preset position of a memory among blocks that form the memory and extracting storage paths of one or more i-node blocks; a path search module searching for storage paths of data specified in the i-node blocks based on the extraction result; and a data management module accessing the data through a storage path of the data and performs a transaction on the data.

    • A vibration reduction apparatus of a disk drive is provided. An optical pickup base 10 in which an optical pickup 16 is movably installed is provided. A spindle motor 18 for providing power requiring for rotating a disk is installed at the front end of the optical pickup base 10, and a turntable 20 for mounting a disk is provided at a rotation axis of the spindle motor 18. A vibration reduction body 30 for reducing a vibration generating in the optical pickup base 10 is installed in the optical pickup base 10. The vibration reduction body 30 comprises a fixing device 32 fixedly installed at one side of the optical pickup base 10, a support bar 36 extended from one side of the fixing device 32 and having an elastically deformable cantilever shape, and a vibration proof weight 38 provided at the front end of the support bar 36.     • A reinforcing steel cord for rubber products, such as steel belted radial tires or conveyor belts, is disclosed. This steel cord is improved in rubber penetration and ageing adhesive force relative to the rubber material. The steel cord is formed by twisting a plurality of brass coated external element wires around a flat and spirally twisted core, with the twisted direction of the core being the same as or opposite to that of the resulting steel cord. In the steel cord, the pitch of the twisted core is set to allow the core to be twisted 0.2 to 2 times within the pitch of the cord, thus preferably forming sufficient interspaces between the core and the external wires in addition to the interspaces between the external wires. Since the rubber material is completely filled in the steel cord due to such interspaces, the steel cord is remarkably improved in buckling fatigue resistance, rubber penetration, air permeability, rubber adhesive force, ageing adhesive force relative to rubber, protection of brass coated surfaces of wires, and workability during a process of producing rubber products. The steel cords of this invention are most preferably used as a reinforcing material for steel belted radial tires.

After setting a speculative total washing time required for the washing in accordance with a program internally stored in terms of a washing condition set by a user, a quantity of water supplied up to a predetermined water level within a washtub is sensed to calculate a total water supply time according to the number of supplying the water throughout overall washing procedure. The calculated total water supply time is compared with the speculative total water supply time set in the initial stage to calculate an additional water supply time, so that the washing operation is performed for the washing time obtained by compensating for the total washing time to timely carry out the washing operation within the set washing time.
