摘要： A work assist vehicle includes a self propelled, steerable body having a chassis and a drive mechanism supported on the chassis; a mast assembly coupled to the body; and, a personnel compartment attached to the mast assembly and being movable by the mast assembly toward and away from the body. The body further includes a cover adapted to extend over a portion of the chassis and a weight sensor assembly coupled to the chassis and the cover. The weight sensor assembly is capable of detecting if someone or something is located on the cover.

摘要： A center controlled pallet truck includes a power unit located at a forward end of the truck, an operator platform in a central portion of the truck, load carrying forks located at a rear end of the truck, a steering arm mounted on and extending upwardly from a forward section of the power unit for controlling the direction of travel of the truck. A control handle mounted on said steering arm includes twist grips for controlling the speed of both forward and reverse movement of the truck. Each twist grip is provided with a generally horizontally disposed, forward facing paddle located at the outer ends of the twist grips to permit the outside fingers on the hand of an operator to move the paddle either upwardly or downwardly and thus rotate the twist grip with minimum force either while the operator is walking along side or riding on the truck.

A first control element is arranged such that a first work operative position is defined. 摘要： An operator's compartment for an industrial vehicle comprises a platform floor, an operator's seat, at least one presence sensing device and a control module. The operator's seat has a base structure coupled to the platform floor and an operator support coupled to the base structure such that the operator support may be rotated with respect to the platform floor. Each provided presence sensing device is arranged to sense an operator's presence in a predetermined location in or about the operator's compartment and the control module is configured to control at least one operation of the vehicle based upon a rotational position of the operator's seat and a signal from at least one of the presence sensing device(s).
