摘要： The present invention relates to a method of forming a surface covering for example wallpaper or a floor covering and an apparatus for forming a surface covering, in which a surface covering raw material is supplied, the surface covering raw material comprising a substrate and a resin layer comprising a resin and a carrier liquid, the resin being dispersed in the carrier liquid and being capable of gelling or curing with the carrier liquid. A pattern is then applied to the resin layer by inkjet printing, and the surface covering raw material with the pattern formed on the resin layer is heated to gel or cure the resin layer to thereby prepare a surface covering.

摘要： A multi spacing decking tool allows comprising an elongated planar body provided with a plurality of spacers which have V-shaped teeth allows the installer to achieve the even gaps between decking planks and boards by accommodating up to six decking boards at a time, cutting the time it takes to achieve the gaps between boards. The V-shaped teeth enable the gauge to smoothly slot in between each plank or board and will set the same even gap throughout the work surface. The multi spacing decking tool allows the installer to achieve a faster installation of the decking boards.

摘要： A two-piece piston is formed by friction welding an upper member to a lower member, wherein the upper and lower members are precision cast to net final dimensions such that no post-casting machining is required prior to the friction-welding process. The upper member includes a substantially flat crown and combustion surface extending radially inward from the crown. The lower member includes a pair of opposing skirts, each having a bore formed therethrough for receiving a connecting rod pin. The upper member and lower member each include at least two corresponding connecting surfaces that form a welded joint therebetween when the upper and lower members are friction welded together. The finished piston includes an integral cooling oil reservoir adjacent to the combustion surface.

摘要： A work piece for use in abrasive environments with hardbanding is provided. The work piece has at least a protective layer deposited onto at least a portion to be protected. The deposited layer exhibits a hardness of at least 50 Rc, a wear rate of less than 0.5 grams of mass loss as measured according to ASTM G65-04, Procedure A, a wear rate on a contacting secondary body comprising carbon steel of less than 0.005 grams as measured according to modified ASTM G77 wear test. The deposited alloy forms an iron matrix comprising embedded hard particles in an amount of less than 15 vol. %. The embedded hard particles have an average particle size of ranging from 100 nm to 5 μm. In one embodiment, the deposition is via welding.
