    • An electrical card connector (100) adapted for accepting memory cards includes an insulative housing (2) defining a card receiving space (24), a number of terminals (5) retained in the housing for electrically connecting with the cards and a metal shell (1) substantially covering the housing. The housing includes a bottom wall (21) and a pair of sidewalls (22, 23) upwardly extending from the bottom wall. Each sidewall provides at least one elastic flap (221, 231) having an outwardly projecting locking portion (2211, 2311). The flap is movable in lateral directions under an external force. The shell includes a pair of side plates (12) each defining at least one locking hole (121) engaging with the locking portion of the at least one flap of the housing.

    • A connector (100) for receiving at least two types of memory cards differing in outer shapes and contact pad positions includes an insulative housing (1) and a terminal module insert (3) fixedly assembled to the housing. The insert includes an insulative casing (31) having an upper plate (311), a lower plate (312) and an upright plate (313). The casing defines a plurality of outlets (316) and forms a plurality of partitions (317) at the upright plate. The terminals forwardly project for electrically engaging with contact pads of the at least two types of cards and rearwardly project beyond the outlets to be fixed between corresponding pairs of partitions for being soldered to the printed circuit board.

    • An electrical connector (1) adapted for mounting on a printed circuit board includes an insulative housing (10) and a number of first and second terminals (30, 31) received in the insulative housing. During mounting process, a pick-up cap (40) is assembled to the insulative housing, which includes a body portion (41) and first and second arms (42, 43) extending toward the mounting face of the insulative housing at different distances. The electrical connector is mounted on the printed circuit board accurately by suctioning the pick-up cap.
