    • PURPOSE: A multi-band antenna and a mobile terminal thereof are provided to improve the transmission/reception property of a multi-band antenna by forming a modifying part in a carrier. CONSTITUTION: A carrier(210) is made of dielectric materials. A radiator(220) is installed on the surface of the carrier. The radiator includes a first and a second branch(213,214). The first and the second branch form different routes each other. The modifying part(230) is formed in a part of the carrier corresponding to adjacent region of the first and the second branch. The modifying part changes the dielectric constant of the carrier when the electromagnetic wave is transmitted/received through the radiator. The modifying part is formed by cutting out a part of the carrier.

    • PURPOSE: An integrated type DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) antenna is provided to reduce manufacturing costs by integrating a QHA(Quadrifilar Helical Antenna) for receiving the satellite DMB and a rod antenna for receiving the terrestrial DMB. CONSTITUTION: A QHA comprises an upper plate(25), a lower plate(24), and two pairs of antenna strips(22). Two pairs of antenna strips are arranged between the upper plate and the lower plate. An added electrode(23) is arranged between an antenna strip of each pair. The added electrode electrically interlinks the upper plate and lower plate. The rod antenna(29) is stored inside the QHA through a penetration part of the upper plate of the QHA. The rod antenna includes a bushing(27). The bushing is electrically connected to the signal line.

    • PURPOSE: A micro-strip antenna is provided to steadily diversify impedance or resonant frequency by optionally controlling a successive frequency from 400MHz to 550 MHz, and to insure a stable communication by radio using small output. CONSTITUTION: A micro-strip antenna comprises the following: a grounding side(30) close to both ends of half-wave length micro-strip antenna; and a screw(20) of a plastic material installed in the grounding side and both ends to optionally control impedance or resonant frequency. Intervals between the end of the micro-strip and the grounding side are controlled by a rotation of the screw. An electrical length of the antenna and an electric position of a feeding point are varied with a perturbation. Center frequency and feed impedance is optionally controlled regardless of surroundings for the installation by the change of the electrical length of the antenna or the electric position of a feeding point.
