    • PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of highly pure nickel sulfate from waste nickel scraps is provided to obtain nickel sulfate with high purity through a simplified process by removing a small amount of impurities from waste materials or waste nickel scraps including nickel using an ion-exchange resin. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of highly pure nickel sulfate from waste nickel scraps comprises the steps of: (a) reducing a potassium content by washing the waste nickel scraps; (b) dissolving the washed nickel scraps in sulfuric acid at the same weight ratio of a nickel content, followed by filtering the solution to obtain a nickel extract; (c) forming an iron oxide sludge by adding nickel carbonate and hydrogen peroxide to the nickel extract, followed by adding a fluorine-based compound to form calcium fluoride sludge; filtering the iron sludge and the calcium fluoride sludge to remove iron and calcium, and thus obtaining the nickel sulfate solution as a filtrate; (e) removing a small amount of impurities from the nickel sulfate solution by using an ion-exchange resin; and (f) concentrating the nickel sulfate solution, from which the impurities are removed.
