    • PURPOSE: An electronic ignition fuse is provided to reduce material costs by reducing the number of components and to improve cost-efficiency by repetitively using an electronic ignition unit. CONSTITUTION: An electronic ignition fuse comprises a fuse body unit(100), a power terminal(130), a fuse coupling unit, and an electronic ignition unit. An ignition charge(121) is inserted into one inner end of the fuse body unit. A hollow unit(110) is formed inside the fuse body unit. The power terminal touches with the ignition charge of the fuse body and is protruded outward. The fuse coupling unit is coupled to the other inner end of the fuse body unit. The electronic ignition unit is coupled to the power terminal.

CONSTITUTION: An electric programming system for detonating a fuse transmit the information to the detonation fuse of a weapon and the weapon stores the information in inside. The programming system receives the information about the property of the weapon from the detonation fuse. The electric programming system is directly composed in the weapon. The electric programming system comprises one or more weapon control unit(2), one or more operating unit(4) and a programmer controller(3). The programmer controller manages the data flow for the communication of the detonation fuse and weapon control unit.

    • PURPOSE: Electric initiator having a sealing material forming a ceramic to metal seal is provided to isolates a header and ignition charge against accidental ignition, to protect against leakage of unfiltered gas from an inflator system. CONSTITUTION: An airbag initiator (124) having an ignition charge (83) and a low temperature ignition charge (85) in an inner case (82) and a metal header (86) closing the inner case (82), a glass seal (89) providing feed through of one or more electrical connections (96, 97) to the ignition charge (83) through the header (86). A ceramic base (88) supports the header and their spaced relationship is maintained by the glass seal (89). The ceramic base (88) and glass seal (89) electrically isolates the header (86) and ignition charge (83) against accidental ignition. The ceramic to glass to metal seal provides protection against leakage of unfiltered gas from the inflator system. A ferromagnetic pressed material (125) is assembled into the ceramic base (88) and its spaced relationship to the ceramic body (88) and the electrical connections (96, 97) are maintained by a single continuous glass seal (89).
