    • PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a carrier is provided to manufacture a compact carrier conveniently by improving parallel precision of the opposed surface, and to reduce process and weight of the carrier with improving the strength. CONSTITUTION: A carrier(C) is composed of a pair of flange parts(1,2) arranged with facing each other to support a rotating body, and plural connecting parts(3) connecting both flange parts. Flange parts and connecting parts are integrally formed with plastic deforming in the carrier. A groove is formed between the flange parts and the connecting parts, and an opening part(5) is formed between connecting parts. Fitting holes(6) are formed in flange parts to support a rotating shaft of the rotating body. Parts and assembling process are reduced with integrally forming the flanges and the connecting parts by single material. Parallel precision is improved, and the carrier is compacted.
