摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a fastener tape which can form a fastener stringer generating no puckers and ensuring linearity especially in an element mounting edge portion even after mounted with an element. CONSTITUTION: This tape 1 for a slide fastener comprises a weave having a tape main portion 5 and an element mounting edge portion 4 into which core cords 7a and 7b are woven. The ground warp 6e to 6n used in the tape main portion 5 uses a textured yarn having a lower thermal shrinkage than the other warp 6a to 6d. The core cords 7a and 7b are a multifilament of a high thermal shrinkage. The warp 6c and 6d adjacently inside the core cords 7a and 7b uses a textured yarn having a lower thermal shrinkage than the core cords 7a and 7b.

When the engaging member rows(4,5) are deviated, the edge part contact areas(9) are extended on the longitudinal plane. When the engaging member rows(4,5) are engaged, the edge part contact areas(9) are bent at a right angle to a side opposite to supporting sides of the engaging member rows(4,5) and are projected. The flexible coating layers(7) of the edge part contact areas(9) are closely adhered each other by a pressing operation.
