    • An antenna device and a radio communication terminal are provided to generate a multiple resonance to extend a frequency bandwidth of a main antenna by using an auxiliary antenna as a parasitic element. An antenna device includes a main antenna(11), an auxiliary antenna(12), and a switch unit(15). The auxiliary antenna(12) is coupled to the main antenna(11) and performs diversity receiving. The switch unit(15) switches the auxiliary antenna(12) from an antenna function to a parasitic element function or from the parasitic element function to the antenna function. The main antenna(11) is arranged to be apart from the auxiliary antenna(12) by a predetermined distance. A multiple resonance is acquired by electromagnetic connection of the main and auxiliary antennas(11,12). The switch unit(15) switches connection of the auxiliary antenna(12) so that the auxiliary antenna(12) is connected to a receiving circuit, grounded directly, or connected through a resistor having a predetermined resistance value.

    • An apparatus and method for supplying information so that power consumption in a digital broadcast receiving terminal can be reduced and a user can use an appropriate antenna depending on a situation. The digital broadcast receiving terminal includes an external antenna detachably assembled with the outside of the terminal a switch unit for selecting any one among the internal antennas and the external antenna, and a signal-receiving condition sensing unit capable of sensing the signal-receiving condition of the internal antennas and the external antenna. If it is impossible to receive the digital broadcast signal by using the internal antennas, the external antenna is used. If the external antenna is mounted, power is supplied only to an RF unit connected to the external antenna and the power supply to the remaining RF unit is cut off, reducing power consumption.

    • PURPOSE: A remote unit available for establishing FA(Frequency Assignment) of a separation type base station is provided to allow a business provider to easily establish an additional FA flexibly according to an increase of subscribers by adding an FA selecting unit. CONSTITUTION: A photoelectric converter(110) receives a signal from a main unit through an optical cable and converts it into an electric signal. A transmitter/receiver(120) processes a transmission/reception signal. An FA selector(130) selects a specific FA from a 3FA transmission signal outputted from the transmitter/receiver(120) and outputs it. A high power amplifier(140) amplifies the specific FA transmission signal selected by the FA selector(130). A triplexer(150) transmits a transmission signal outputted from the high power amplifier(140) to an antenna(160) of a main path, and sets a path of a signal received from the antenna(160) of the main path or an antenna(170) of a diversity path.
