    • PURPOSE: A battery system includes an evaporation type cooling member, thereby effectively cooling battery modules in a battery system. CONSTITUTION: A battery system includes a battery module with an evaporative cooling member (26), a housing, a battery cell, and solid cooling fins. The housing surrounds the battery cell. The solid cooling fin has first and second panel portions. The first panel portion faces the battery cell. The second panel portion is extended through the housing and is located on an evaporation type cooling member. The solid cooling fin conducts heat energy to the evaporation type cooling member from the battery cell. The evaporation type cooling member is filled with a gaseous-liquid refrigerant and converts the gaseous-liquid refrigerant into a gas refrigerant by using heat energy from the solid cooling fin.
