    • PURPOSE: A laser CRT is provided to reduce manufacturing costs and equipment costs without lowering the life of the CRT by preventing electrical discharge between flanges, a laser target and members connected to the laser target at the same time that electric circuits connected to a cathode are grounded. CONSTITUTION: A high voltage application part(7) passes through a vacuum bulb(1) with a predetermined distance from metal flanges(5,6). A laser target(3) is electrically insulated from the metal flanges, and is connected to the high voltage application part through a conductor(9) positioned within the bulb. Two shield electrodes(11,12) are installed in a space between a bulb wall, the flanges, the high voltage application part and the conductor, are respectively coupled to the high voltage application part and the flanges, and are extended toward each other to prevent electrical discharge between the flange and the high voltage application part and between the flange and the conductor.

    • PURPOSE: A laser cathode ray tube is provided to enhance the durability at a low temperature by improving a combining structure of between a disk and a first metal ring so that a vacuum sealing is maintained therebetween. CONSTITUTION: The laser cathode ray tube comprises a first metal ring(33), a disk(39) having a single crystal and a second metal ring(35). A glass part(32) is engaged with the first metal ring(33). An electron gun(31) is installed at the glass part(32). When an electric beam is emitted from the electron gun(31), the disk(39) emits a laser. The second metal ring(35) is engaged with the first metal ring(33). The disk(39) is attached to the second metal ring(35). At least two metal thin films are disposed between the second metal ring(35) and the disk(39). These metal thin films are bonded to the second metal ring(35) and the disk(39) by the thermal compression so that the second metal ring(35) is fixedly attached to the disk(39).
