    • PURPOSE: A cut out switch integrating a lightning arrester is provided to increase efficiency and to reduce manufacturing cost by integrating a cut out switch and a lightning arrester and to promote convenience of construction and reduction of construction cost by sharing a first lead wire of a cut out switch and a lightning arrester for electric pole in a distribution line and extra-high voltage customer point of responsibility division lightning accident prevention. CONSTITUTION: A cut out switch embedding a body(1) and a fuse holder(2) includes a polymeric insulation housing(4) surrounding a lightning arrester(3) made of non-straight line type metal oxide material inside of the body(1), which lightning arrester connects a first lead upper terminal(3a) of the lightning arrester to a contact holder(5) of the cut out switch via wire(6) and connects a second lead lower terminal(3b) of the lightning arrester to a ground line(70).

CONSTITUTION: A cut-out switch blocking method comprises the steps of: opening a fuse holder of a cut-out switch by cutting a fuse when one of cut-out switches installed on three phases fails(S10), rotating a drive shaft using a plurality of levers with the opening force of the fuse holder in a cut-out switch blocking device on the failed phase, one of cut-out switch blocking devices connected through the drive shaft(S20), and opening fuse holders in the other cut-out switch blocking devices with levers actuated by the rotation of the drive shaft(S30).
