    • A support assembly for controlling the deflection of a cantilever type shaft in a nuclear reactor tool assembly has at least one pair of leverage members to be coupled with the shaft. The members are extended radially away from the shaft, are axially spaced apart from each other, and are fixed to the outer surface of the shaft at the radially inward portions of the leverage members. A bending moment actuator is extended to the gap between the outward portions of the members to apply force therebetween for displacing the outward portions relative to each other to apply moment to the shaft extended to the gap between the radially inward portions. The moment rigidly controls the deflection of the shaft when it is supported through cantilevers. The assembly can be coupled with the outer surface of the shaft at short intervals of the bending moment actuators and the corresponding leverage members. The assembly can be coupled with an inner surface of a hollow shaft.

To attain the purpose, the nuclear furnace in which the separable in-core instrument is installed according to the present invention comprises a furnace core, a nuclear fuel assembly, a lower structure of the nuclear furnace, the in-core instrument and the signal transmission cable wherein the in-core instrument is connected via a connection terminal to the signal transmission cable formed at the lower structure of the nuclear furnace.

The fuel pallet is separated from the track at predetermined intervals and placed on the water tank along the track. The roller is included in the fuel pallet and touches the track. The roller touches both sides of the track along a separation direction of the pallet.
