    • 본 발명은 단일한 연속적인 광배향공정으로 미소영역에 따라 서로 다른 배향방향을 갖는 배향막을 형성하는 입체영상 표시장치용 광학필터 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 의하면, 기판위에 고분자막을 형성하는 단계; 상기 고분자막의 상부에는 서로 다른 편광된 빛이 선택적으로 통과되도록 광투과영역 및 광차단영역이 상하 및 좌우로 서로 엇갈려서 교대로 형성된 패턴 마스크를, 그리고 상기 패턴 마스크 상부에는 각각 서로 다른 편광을 투과시키는 구별되는 두 영역을 갖는 편광판을 위치시키고, 상기 편광판의 상부로부터 상기 고분자막으로 자외선을 조사하여 상기 고분자막의 미소영역에서 서로 다른 배향방향을 갖는 배향막을 형성하는 광배향단계; 및 상기 배향막위에 위상지연층을 형성하는 단계를 포함하는 입체영상 표시장치용 광학필터 제조방법이 제공된다. 본 발명의 입체영상 표시장치용 광학필터 제조방법에 의하면, 한 장의 패턴 마스크 및 단일한 연속적인 광조사 공정으로 고분자막의 미소영역에 서로 다른 배향성이 부여되므로 고분자막에 대한 미소영역에서 서로 다른 광배향 방향을 갖는 배향막 형성 공정이 단순화된다. 이에 따라, 입체영상 표시장치용 광학필터 제조의 공정 수율 및 생산성이 향상된다.
