    • The present invention relates to a via-hole optical examination apparatus and, more specifically, to a via-hole optical examination apparatus capable of accurately measuring an existence of an un-plated status inside a via-hole or an existence of impurities. The present invention includes a light source; a polarizing filter capable of passing only certain wavelengths of a light emitted from the light source; a beam splitter for passing or reflecting only the light which passed through the polarizing filter; a condensing lens for condensing the light reflected from the beam splitter; and a light detector for detecting the returning condensed light after being reflected from inside the via-hole.

    • A surface inspection apparatus is provided with a detecting unit wherein inspection light is irradiated from a laser diode through a light projection fiber to an inner circumferential surface of an inspection subject and its reflecting light intensity is detected by a first light receiving fiber group set around the light projection fiber, a second light receiving fiber group set outside of the first light receiving fiber group, and a photodetector connected with the first and second light receiving fiber groups, respectively. Further, the surface inspection apparatus extracts a frequency component corresponding to fluctuations of the reflective light intensity resulting from discrepancy between the axis line and the central line of a cylindrical member from an output signal of the photodetector, and controls the laser diode to vary the intensity of the inspection light in accordance with difference between the frequency component and a prescribed reference value. In addition, at least one normal line direction with respect to either a front surface or a rear surface of a protective window member in a head device of the surface inspection apparatus is inclined to an incident light direction of the inspection light toward the protective window member.
