    • PURPOSE: A differential system is provided to improve durability of a ring gear, to reduce noise of the gear, and to facilitate assembly and dismantlement of a differential case and the ring gear. CONSTITUTION: A differential system is composed of a differential case(70) for rotating by receiving power of a transmission; a pinion gear(80) combined rotatively with a pinion shaft(90) penetrating vertically the differential case; a side gear(100) engaged with the pinion gear across and spline-combined with left and right drive shafts(92); and a ring gear(60) spline-combined on the outer peripheral surface of the differential case engaged with an output shaft of the transmission to rotate together with the output shaft. A flange unit(72) is formed along the outer periphery of the differential case. A placing unit(62) is stepped and settled on the flange unit in the inner periphery of the ring gear. Splines are formed on the flange unit and the placing unit.

    • PURPOSE: A rear axle is provided to raise the lowest ground clearance without increasing the sizes of a ring gear and an axle housing though the torque of the engine is increased. CONSTITUTION: A rear axle includes an axle housing(13), a pinion gear(15), a first final reduction gear(17), a second final reduction gear(19), a ring gear(21), and a differential. The pinion gear is installed within the axle housing and the pinion gear receives torque from a propeller shaft. The first final reduction gear is coupled with the pinion gear. The second final reduction gear is connected with the first final reduction gear by a shaft. The ring gear is coupled to the second final reduction gear. The differential is connected to the ring gear and the differential transmits driving force to axle shafts(25,27). The rear axle can realize the reduction ratio desired while not increasing the number of the teeth of the ring gear.

    • PURPOSE: An assembling device of a differential gear case and a ring gear of a trans axle prevent the wrong assembly of the ring gear and the differential gear case due to the wrong setting of the ring gear. CONSTITUTION: A discriminating switch(2) is disposed at a position separated from the lower surface of a ring gear(31) by a predetermined distance. When the ring gear(31) is put on a ring gear supporter(1), the lower surface of the ring gear(31) becomes not to contact with the discriminating switch(2). When, the ring gear(31) does not contact with the discriminating switch(2), the discriminating switch(2) is not operated, thereby enabling the next operation. But, if the ring gear(31) contacts with the discriminating switch(2), it is programmed that the next operation to be halted. Therefore, the wrong assembly of the ring gear(31) and a differential gear case(32) due to the wrong setting of the ring gear(31) is prevented.

CONSTITUTION: A differential comprises a differential gear(200) driven and engaged with a ring gear(130) transmitting power of an engine; a differential transmitting unit(300) combined with the middle of the differential gear and composed of a guide groove(310) vertically and horizontally formed; left and right operating pins(600,610) placed in the left and the right of the guide groove, and independently moved to the right and the left according to the state of the vehicle to transmit power to the outer wheel in turning the vehicle; side gears(400,410) transmitting equal power to left and right wheels(110,120) in constricting the left and right operating pin in operating grooves(400a,410a), and rotating the separated wheel fast in separating the left or right operating pin from the operating groove; and a spring(500) applying tension to a ball(510) contacted to both ends of the operating pins, and constricting the left and right operating pins in the operating grooves during traveling.
