The cover member has an alarm apparatus including an accommodating member(16) attached to the inner surface of the cover member, and which forms a predetermined empty space inside of the accommodating member; a rod member(18) an upper end of which is supported to be movable within the accommodating member and a lower end of which is inserted into the coolant storage container; a buoyant member(20) fixed to the rod member and which receives a buoyant force from the water coolant stored in the coolant storage container; and an alarm member(22) which moves within the accommodating member in accordance with the buoyant force received at the buoyant member.

Preferably, a hollow hole is formed in the cap part. Litmus paper for checking the density of an anti-freeze coolant is mounted in the hollow hole. The pressure sensor measures the internal pressure of a radiator.

    • PURPOSE: An oil pan structure is provided to prevent misoperation of the oil level sensor when the vehicle travels along the inclined road. CONSTITUTION: A separator wall is arranged within an oil pan(1), and an oil level sensor(10) is arranged in the vicinity of the inner wall of the oil pan. The separator wall has an oil passing hole, and an inclination sensor(30) for selectively opening/shutting the oil passing hole in accordance with the inclination of the oil pan when the vehicle travels along the inclined road is mounted in the oil passing hole. The inclination sensor shuts the oil passing hole when the vehicle travels along the inclined road so that the oil existing inside the separator wall is not mixed with the oil existing outside the separator wall.

The operating circuit opens/shuts by the electrical switching operation between the movable contact and the fixed contact. The movable contact and the fixed contacts are electrically connected with each other in a high temperature display section of the gauge indicator.

If the difference(T-T2) of the expected coolant temperature and real coolant temperature is out of a certain range, it is decided as a thermostat disorder.
