    • PURPOSE: A smoke reducing method of a diesel vehicle is provided to prevent the stop of a starting and the deterioration of the fuel efficiency and to reduce the effect from the pressure change according to an acceleration and a reduction by using a similarity equation. CONSTITUTION: In starting a vehicle, every variable is initialized(S100). The regeneration of diesel particulate filter is checked(S110). An injection control signal is outputted(S155) by deciding an injecting area(S140,S145) after following a driving condition. The stop of an engine according to the pressure change of the diesel particulate filter is prevented(S150,S160). Thereby, the stop of the engine during a driving and the deterioration of the fuel efficiency are prevented.

    • PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided to prevent damages of engine by allowing for a bypass of exhaust gas when the function of the DPF is lost. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a bypass pipe(20) for permitting both ends of a DPF(10) to be communicated with each other and exhaust gas of an engine to bypass the DPF; a bypass valve(30) for opening/shutting the bypass pipe; and an electronic control unit for bypassing exhaust gas of the engine by opening the bypass valve when the function of the DPF is lost. The electronic control unit judges that the DPF has lost its function when the value obtained by dividing the differential pressure between both ends of the DPF by the exhaust flow is higher than the reference value.
