    • PURPOSE: High tensile steel cord structure for a tire is provided to minimize the movement of the steel cord by sticking rubber to the steel cord firmly with infiltrating rubber to the steel cord, and to improve endurance by restricting corrosion with preventing the cord from being contacted to water or oxygen. CONSTITUTION: A steel cord of a tire is composed of a core filament and a strand filament. The core filament and the strand filament are twisted conversely, and the pitch as the twisting period of the core filament is different from the pitch of the strand filament. The rate of the core pitch to the strand pitch is formed to be within the range of 0.5-0.94. The steel cord is formed with adding 3 times core filament diameter to 8 times strand filament diameter. The rubber is stuck to the steel cord with twisting the steel cord and the rubber conversely.
