    • PURPOSE: A yellow soil dyeing method of hemp cloth for a shroud is characterized by using dyeing solution mixed paste, yellow soil powder, salt, a mud yellow pigment or natural glue. The hemp cloth has excellent hygroscopicity, water expulsive property, antibacterial property and antitoxic property and intercepting ultraviolet. CONSTITUTION: A yellow soil dyeing method of hemp cloth(10) for a shroud is as follows: putting wheat flour into boiled water, followed by stirring the mixture to manufacture paste; mixing 75-95wt.% of the paste, 3-24wt.% of yellow soil powder and one or two selected from salt, a mud yellow pigment and natural glue to manufacture dyeing solution(12); filling a dyeing drum(11) with the dyeing solution(12); infiltrating the hemp cloth(10) into the dyeing solution(12); spreading the infiltrated hemp cloth(10), followed by passing the cloth through a pressure roller(14) to distribute the dyeing solution(12) over the cloth(10) uniformly; and then drying the cloth(10) with a heat roller(15).

CONSTITUTION: A dyeing method of fabric using natural dyes is as follows: scouring, bleaching and silket-finishing the fabric; adding 0.5-5.0wt.%(O.W.F.) of dimethyl-5- sulfoisophthalate sodium salt(DMSIP) or (5-sulfo-1,3-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)ester) to the fabric, followed by making the fabric reacted at 40-80deg.C for 10-30 minutes to give functionality of fiber; regulating liquid ratio into 1 : 20-40 to dissolve 0.5-5.0wt.%(O.W.F.) of the natural dyes, followed by dyeing the fabric at 30deg.C for 20 minutes and heating the fabric at 80deg.C to dye for 60 minutes; mordanting, washing, dehydrating and drying the dyed fabric; adding 0.5-5wt.%(O.W.F.) of hyperfine colloidal TiO2 to the fabric to give tenderness; and then drying the fabric.

    • PURPOSE: A dyeing method of fiber is provided, which is characterized by pre-treating fiber with a reaction type anionizing agent to form a covalent bond between the fiber and the reaction type anionizing agent, dyeing the fiber with phellodendron extract colorant, increasing dye uptake of berberine and having excellent wash fastness. The reaction type anionizing agent has anion group and reactor. The phellodendron extract colorant has cation group. CONSTITUTION: A dyeing method of fiber using a reaction type anionizing agent and phellodendron extract colorant is as follows: (S1) dissolving 5-10.0wt.% of sodium sulphate, 0.5-1.5wt.% of sodium carbonate and 0.2-1.0wt.% of the reaction type anionizing agent in 87.5-94.3wt.% of water; (S2) dipping fiber into a dissolved aqueous solution at 30-40deg.C for 1-2hrs. to form a covalent bond between the fiber and the reaction type anionizing agent; (S3) washing the fiber; (S4) dissolving 0.1-1.0wt.% of the sodium carbonate in 94-99.8wt.% of water, followed by dissolution of 0.1-5.0wt.% of the phellodendron extract colorant in a solution to prepare dyes; (S5) dyeing the fiber at 35-45deg.C for 30-50min.; (S6) washing the dyed fiber; and then (S7) drying the fiber.

    • PURPOSE: A method for extracting a natural dye by extracting flowers, leaves and stems of garden balsam and then filtering is provided. Whereby, the natural dye gives a brown or orange color and has excellent washfastness. A fiber product is dyed with mordants in an acidic condition using the natural dye. CONSTITUTION: A garden balsam(Impatiens balsamina L.) is extracted in a juice extractor and then residual dregs are separated from the garden balsam juice by filtering at a pressure of 100 to 110kg/cm¬2 in a filter press to produce a pigment component. The obtained pigment solution is adjusted to pH 3 to 5 and then dyed at 40 to 100deg.C for 20 to 50 min by introduction of a degummed and bleached fabric thereto.
