    • The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing anodized carbon fibers using the mixed acidic electrolyte solution of sulfuric acid and nitric acid and, more particularly, to a high-performance carbon fibers that has interfacial bonding strength with resin used for a matrix improved by anodizing the carbon fibers with the mixed acidic electrolyte solution of sulfuric acid and nitric acid, thereby introducing functional groups of oxygen; and a manufacturing method thereof. The present invention provides a method for manufacturing anodized carbon fibers by the electrochemical surface treatment of the acidic electrolyte solution in the process of applying an electric current to the acidic electrolyte solution wherein sulfuric acid and nitric acid are present in a volumetric ratio of 1:3 or 3:1. Therefore, a continuous process without damage to the carbon fibers and stable treatment are enabled, and the interfacial bonding strength with the resin matrix is improved and excellent mechanical properties can be exhibited as the carbon fibers has high surface energy.
