    • PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of chlorohydrins is provided to improve the yield and the selectivity of chlorohydrins and to prevent the reduction of reaction speed, by removing water, which is by product of a reaction, without the loss of chlorinating agent or catalyst. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of chlorohydrins comprises: a first reacting step reacting polyhydroxy aliphatic hydrocarbon with a chlorinating agent; a water removal step separating water, discharged from the first reacting step, to a water-rich layer and water-poor layer; and a second reacting step reacting the reactant with the chlorinating agent or additional chlorinating agent; a step of obtaining chlorohydrins concentrates by purifying the reactant discharged from last reacting step among the plurality of reacting steps; a step of obtaining a first chlorohydrins composition by mixing the chlorohydrins concentrates and the water-rich layer; and a step of obtaining a second chlorohydrins composition through the dilution of the first chlorohydrins composition by water.
