    • PURPOSE: An artificial color aggregate and its manufacturing method are provided to improve color durability, to reduce the construction cost by substituting natural color stones with the same, and to give various vivid colors with a prolonged period by convenient maintenance. CONSTITUTION: The artificial color aggregate is produced by painting natural stone(50) having a diameter of 20mm or more with a paint mixture comprising cement and paint as main ingredients; drying the painted stone to form a color layer(60) on the surface of aggregate; coating the dried aggregate with a reinforcing coat(72), drying it and repeating this procedure at least once to form reinforced color layers(74,76).

    • PURPOSE: A method for coating the surface of waste aggregates with waste tire rubber powder is provided. The resultant aggregates with high permeability is widely used as permeable base materials, and substitutes for permeable concrete. CONSTITUTION: The surface treatment method comprises the steps of: (i) gathering waste construction aggregates such as brick, concrete, gravel, ascon, etc.; (ii) crushing into a size of 8-30mm; spraying GR-001 primer on the surface of aggregates for forming a first coating layer; (iii) curing the aggregates; (iv) treating the surface of aggregates with a mixture of polyurethane binder and rubber powder(0.4-2mm) for forming a second coating layer; and (v) curing by passing rubber- coated aggregates through a heated tube.

    • A method for manufacturing multi-purpose fillers having buoyancy is provided to produce a buoyant material by forming a waterproofing coating layer on porous stone and reduce a production cost by using recycled urethane as a main material. A method for manufacturing multi-purpose fillers having buoyancy includes the steps of: (s10) sorting waterless porous stone particles by size; (s20) stirring 75-90wt% of the sorted porous stone particles and 10-25wt% of a primer in an agitator to impregnate the porous stone particles with the primer; (s30) stirring 60-75wt% of the resultant porous stone particles and 25-40wt% of recycled resins as a waterproofing material to form a first waterproofing coating layer on the primer-coated porous stone particles; (s40) spraying a proper amount of calcium carbonate while stirring the porous stone having the first waterproofing layer so as to prevent cohesion of the porous stone particles; (s50) curing the first waterproofing coating layer of the porous stone; (s60) stirring 65-75wt% of the cured porous stone and 25-35wt% of a waterproofing material in an agitator to form a second waterproofing coating layer; (s70) stirring the obtained porous stone particles while adding 80-90wt% of calcium carbonate and 10-20wt% of a tourmaline powder, and stirring the porous stone having the second waterproofing coating layer in such a way that the particles do not cling to one another; and (s80) curing the obtained porous stone particles.

CONSTITUTION: The non-freezing pavement material of a road comprises an aggregate core which is prepared by mixing and heating dirt, stone powder, waste rubber materials and waste vinyl materials in a certain ratio while stirring; a carbonate layer coated to the exterior of said aggregate core; a magma layer surrounding said carbonate layer; and a carbon layer which surrounds said magma layer and has holes perforated from surface part toward core part.

    • PURPOSE: A reinforced pearlite composition for particle shaped construction materials and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reinforce the tensile strength and the tear strength of the composition by coating gypsum powder on expanded pearlite particles. CONSTITUTION: Expanded pearlite particle, the diameter of which is between 0.5 and 5mm, is arranged in a vibration container. An adhesive solution is poured into the vibration container in order to coat the expanded pearlite particle. Gypsum powder is coated on the coated expanded pearlite particle using a revolving furnace. The adhesive solution and gypsum powder discharged through the mesh of the vibration container are reused.
