    • PURPOSE: An air drier for the air suspension of an electric vehicle is provided to improve the fuel efficiency of a vehicle by installing a muffler inside a body, relatively shortening an air passage, and reducing the volume and weight of an air drier. CONSTITUTION: An air drier for the air suspension of an electric vehicle comprises a body, a cartridge (23), a bolt, a cap (37), a buffer spring (38), a solenoid valve (25), a body bush (35), a pilot-safety valve (27), an O-ring (36), a muffler (29), a C-ring (32), and a heater. A body comprises an inlet (21) and a vent hole (26). The cartridge is connected to the vent hole of the body and is filled with a desiccant inside. The bolt fastens the cartridge to the body. The cap is installed on the top of the cartridge and comprises an entrance (24). The buffer spring is installed between the desiccant and the body to protect the desiccant from external shock. The solenoid valve controls the connection of the entrance of the body and the vent hole. The body bush is installed on the vent hole. The pilot-safety valve passes air when regenerative air from the body bush reaches a predetermined pressure level. The O-ring seals up a gap between the pilot-safety valve and the body bush. The muffler is installed inside the body and reduces vent noise by being filled with a desiccant. The C-ring fixes the muffler inside the body. The heater prevents the desiccant from freezing.

    • PURPOSE: An elastic energy system for a vehicle is provided to fasten the pump to the bearing bar variously by fixing the bearing bar to the outer tube, and to improve sealing efficiency by arranging the seal between the pump and the bearing bar. CONSTITUTION: In an elastic energy system(1) of a vehicle, a pump(2) is fixed to a bearing bar(3) combined with an outer tube(6). The pump is fastened to the bearing bar by a fixing screw(5) on a flange surface(4). The bearing bar is connected to the outer tub via a welding point, and a threaded bore is formed in the flange surface to fix the pump. The elastic energy system has a level control system for adjusting the height of the structure. The pump is composed of a pump piston and a driving gear, and mounted to the outer tube of the piston-cylinder assembly.

The compressor compresses external air. The dryer eliminates moisture from the compressed air. The one-way valve is installed in a first pipeline which connects the dryer and an air spring and prevents the dried air from passing through the air spring. The opening and closing valve is opened when the air is exhausted from the air spring and is closed when the air flows into the air spring. The throttle valve eliminates moisture from the dryer by throttling the air exhausted from the air spring. The exhaust valve is opened to discharge the air passing through the throttle valve to the air.

A length adjusting part is formed at the connection part of the vertical rod and the horizontal lever.
