    • According to the present invention, a method for manufacturing a downsized replica using alginate impression materials, which uses the properties of drying shrinkage of the alginate impression materials, comprises the steps of: (a) forming a negative mold with the impression of a replication target using alginate impression knead; (b) shrinking the negative mold by drying the moisture content of the same down to one weight percent or less; (c) forming a downsized embossing replica by filling liquid or semisolid indurative materials into the shrunk mold, hardening and removing the materials from the mold; and (d) with modeling on the downsized embossing replica obtained from step (c), manufacturing a downsized replica in a desired size by repeating step (a), (b), and (c) one or more times. The technology for manufacturing a downsized replica according to the present invention using properties of the algenate impression is much simpler and economical than downsized replication using conventional 3D methods.
