    • 본발명은, 작업대상물지지부에의해지지되는글라스의에지(edge)를자기유변유체연마방식으로연마하는장치로서, 원통형상으로서측면둘레를따라연마홈이형성되는연마휠; 상기연마휠을회전동작시키는구동부; 상기지지부에의해지지되는상기글라스를좌우또는전후방향으로이동시켜상기연마휠의연마홈으로이송시키는이송부; 자기유변유체를상기연마홈상에일정한두께로공급하는유체공급부; 상기연마휠에자기장을형성시키는자기장형성부; 상기연마홈으로연마슬러리를공급하는연마슬러리공급부; 상기글라스의에지연마에사용된상기연마슬러리를회수하는연마슬러리회수부및 를포함하고, 상기글라스의에지는상기연마홈의내주면상에접촉하며연마가이루어지는자기유변유체연마장치를제공한다. 본발명은, 글라스의에지부위를자기유변유체방식으로연마할수 있고, 측면에연마홈이형성된연마휠을사용하여글라스의에지부위를자기유변유체방식으로연마하므로글라스의에자연마를위해연마공구의회전이나글래스의이송과정을필요로하지않는다.

    • A multi wheel type polishing device using magneto-rheological fluid is provided to prevent magnetorheological fluid particles from being broken away from the magnetic material the centrifugal force. A multi wheel type polishing device using magneto-rheological fluid comprises a specimen settling frame(20) in which the specimen(10) is fixed to the inner surface; a plurality of polishing wheels(40) having the magnetism of being arranged inside the specimen settling frame; and magnetorheological fluid(30) magnetically adhered to the polishing wheel. The magnetorheological fluid magnetically adhered to the polishing wheel surface polishes specimen by rotating the specimen settling frame and the polishing wheel.

    • The objective of the present invention is to polish an end surface of a glass substrate and to shorten time of the polishing process compared to a conventional process. In a polishing process to polish an end surface of a glass substrate, a rotating axis, a magnetic field forming unit configured with a magnet and including a first member and a second member that are disposed with a distance therebetween in an axial direction of the rotation axis and rotate together with the rotation axis, and a polishing wheel configured with abrasive grains and liquid and including a magnetic fluid held and supported by a magnetic field formed between the first member and the second member, are used. In the polishing process, the concentration of the abrasive grains in the magnetic fluid is controlled to be greater than or equal to 70%, the magnetic fluid is contacted with the end surface of the glass substrate while the rotation axis rotates, and the polishing wheel is moved relative to the glass substrate along an end edge of the glass substrate being polished.

    • A magnetism polishing device is provided to prevent an inner side of an object to be polished from being shaken while polishing by rotating the abrasive along a magnetic force generation unit. A magnetism polishing device comprises: a magnetic force generation unit(10) generating the magnetic force; a rotating unit(30) rotating the magnetic force generation unit in the state where the magnetic force generation unit is inserted into the inner side of an object need to be polished(5);an abrasive formed in the magnetic force generation unit; and a permanent magnet(70) in which the object is fixed in the inside. The abrasive polishes the inner side of the object by rotating along the magnetic force generation unit. The inner side and outer side of the permanent magnet are different. The permanent magnet generates the attraction between the inner side of the object and the magnetic force generation unit. The height of a magnetic pole of the magnetic force generation unit is higher than the inner side of the object.
