    • PURPOSE: An impeller type ultrasonic transducer is provided to promote the output of ultrasonic waves, to be directly used in the water, and to integrate such characteristics as resonance frequency and impedance of two ultrasonic generators. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic transducer is composed of an ultrasonic generator(1) consisting of countermasses(3) attached on both ends of piezoceramics elements(2) and rods(4) coaxially combined on both ends of the countermasses and for radiating ultrasonic waves to a medium in radial direction. For waterproofing property, the outside of the ultrasonic generator is sealed by a housing(5). With easy designing and processing of the countermasses of the ultrasonic generator, stability of the transducer is enhanced and immersible motion is possible. Thereby, the ultrasonic transducer is installed easily.

    • PURPOSE: A sound-wave transfer apparatus using ultrasonic wave is provided to transfer sound by vibrating an object such as ear or glass plate without a receiver such as a radio or a television. CONSTITUTION: A microphone changes sound wave to electrical signal. The changed electrical signal is input into a frequency modulation circuit. The frequency modulation circuit modulates the frequency of the electrical signal. The electrical signal with modulated frequency drives an ultrasonic generator. The ultrasonic generator generates frequency modulated ultrasonic wave. The ultrasonic wave is transferred to a distant distance.
