    • The present invention relates to a swine feed composition containing crab-shell powder chelated with iron ions within a pickling solution, which is usable as an oral iron supplement and, more specifically, to an iron supplement for a feed additive, which is developed by using iron ions within a pickling solution and pulverized crab-shells as materials. The iron supplement according to the present invention is able to prevent and treat the iron deficiency symptoms by feeding to swine in a way of solving problems of the conventional iron injection solution and adding to the feed, and has an advantage that the dose is controllable as necessary due to oral administration. The iron supplement according to the present invention has an effect applicable to other livestock in need of iron as the effect is confirmed by directly feeding to swine. Furthermore, the iron supplement according to the present invention has economical and environment-friendly characteristics by recycling a pickling solution, which is a disposed environmental contaminant, and crab-shells,.
