    • PURPOSE: An optical system for an infrared sensor unit provides convenience for forming an infrared sensor having excellent performance by being properly applied to the infrared sensor of high definition. CONSTITUTION: An optical system (30) for an infrared sensor unit includes a barrel (31), a first lens member (32), a second lens member (33), a third lens member (34), spacers (35, 36), and a retainer (37). The first, second, and the third lens members are installed inside the barrel by being mutually separated from each other. Both surfaces of the first lens member are formed to be convex in a light radiation direction of a light source. The second lens member is positioned to transmit the lights emitted by the first lens member, and both surfaces of the second lens body are formed to be convex toward the first lens member. The third lens member is positioned to transmit the light emitted by the second lens member, and both surfaces of the third lens body are formed to be convex toward the second lens member. The spacers are joined inside the barrel so that intervals between the lens members are maintained. The retainer fixes each lens body inside the barrel.
