    • A plasma display panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to minimize thermal deformation during a baking process by forming dielectric walls using plural sheets and then combining the walls with substrates. A first substrate(111) and a second substrate(112) are placed opposite to each other. Barrier ribs(113) are disposed between the substrates to define plural discharge cells between the substrates. Discharge electrodes(114 to 116) are buried in the barrier ribs to cause discharge. R, G and B phosphor layers(118) are formed in each discharge cell. The barrier ribs are composed of plural barrier rib sheets, and the discharge electrodes are patterned in selected regions of the barrier rib sheets.
