摘要： A digital TV, a digital broadcasting system, and a method of controlling the digital broadcasting system are provided to actively control an application function by effectively using a limited number of keys. A digital broadcasting system includes a digital TV(100) and a broadcasting station(200) which transmits a program and a broadcasting signal including key combination information for controlling a function according to the program. The digital TV includes a user input unit(40) having a plurality of keys, a receiver for receiving the broadcasting signal, an extractor(35) for extracting the program and the key combination information from the broadcasting signal, a storage unit(37) for storing the extracted program and the key combination information, and a controller(60). When at least two keys are inputted through the user input unit while the program stored in the storage unit is executed, the controller executes a function corresponding to a combination of the inputted keys based on the key combination information.
