    • The present invention relates to an optical fiber type overheat detecting sensor which comprises: a housing; an optical fiber extended from the inside to the outside of the housing by penetrating the housing; a bimetal element installed inside the housing and bends in accordance to the changes in temperature; and an interference unit which interferes in order to bend the optical fiber in accordance to the bending of the bimetal element such that the loss of light transmitted from the inside of the optical fiber can be induced. Therefore, the optical fiber type overheat detecting sensor and a distributed overheat detecting apparatus applying the same can easily determine overheating by a simple structure, and can determine the detection of overheating for each sensor using a single optical signal by connecting the overheat detecting sensors in series.
