    • PURPOSE: A method for reducing slag is provided to increase a reduction effect with injecting an optimal reducing agent inside the slag from an iron making process and a steel making process, thereby increasing a recovery amount of a valuable metal inside the slag. CONSTITUTION: A method for reducing slag includes: a step (100) of reducing the slag from melting scraps in an electric furnace, identifying the components of the slag which is a subject for reduction, and then determining a desired composition ratio after the reduction; a step (200) of determining a mixing ratio and injecting amount for a composite reducing agent in which multiple reducing agents are mixed according to the desired composition ratio; and a step (300) of injecting the composite reducing agent inside the melted slag in order to reduce the slag.     • PURPOSE: An electric furnace is provided to prevent slag leakage during a steel manufacturing work and to improve the efficiency of arc heat generated when foamed slag is formed. CONSTITUTION: An electric furnace(1) comprises a body unit(1a,1b), a ceiling member(2), a molten steel outlet, a slag outlet(1c), an upper door member(40), an upper door moving device(50), a leakage control door member(20), a door operating device(30). Scraps are put into the inner space of the body unit and are melted. The ceiling member covers the top of the inner space of the body unit and has multiple electrode rods(2a) for generating arc heat. The slag outlet is formed at one side of the body unit. The upper door member opens and closes the top of the slag outlet. The upper door moving device vertically moves the upper door member. The leakage control door member opens and closes the bottom of the slag outlet. The door operating device vertically moves the leakage control door member and prevents slag leakage.

    • PURPOSE: A door apparatus for slag discharge of an electric converter is provided to improve the efficiency of arc heat by formation of foamed slag and to increase the recovery rate of molten steel by collecting valuable metal from molten slag. CONSTITUTION: A door apparatus for slag discharge of an electric converter(1) comprises a slag discharge guide support(10), a discharge control door member(20), and a door operating device. The slag discharge guide support is arranged under a slag discharge hole(1c) formed on one side of the electric furnace, and slag flows out along the top surface of the slag discharge guide support. The discharge control door member is protruded from the top surface of the slag discharge guide support and moved up and down. The door operating device moves the discharge control door member up and down.
