    • Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a bumper crash box for a vehicle by using a laser heat treatment which is capable of improving performance when testing a high speed collision or a research council for automobile repairs (RCAR) by selectively increasing strength in a necessary part by locally performing a heat treatment. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for manufacturing a bumper crash box for a vehicle by using a laser heat treatment comprises: (a) a step for preparing a bumper crash box main body formed from a steel plate; and (b) a step for forming a strength reinforcing part by locally performing a laser surface heat treatment to the bumper crash box main body. In the (b) step, the strength reinforcing part is formed in a place of 2 or more of the bumper crash box main body. Since the speed of a laser surface heat treatment is increased to a rear end from a front end combined to a bumper, strength in the rear end is relatively increased in comparison with the front end.
