    • PURPOSE: An engine idle control method for a hybrid vehicle is provided to improve fuel efficiency over 2% in an engine idle state as the feedback control of an engine speed is performed by a motor. CONSTITUTION: An engine idle control method for a hybrid vehicle comprises following steps. The charge amount of a battery(106) is determined according to the SOC(Stage Of Charge) of the battery. The target speed and engine torque according to charge amount of the battery are determined. The target speed and chare torque of a motor(300) corresponding to the target speed and torque of an engine(200) are determined. The speed control torque for the motor is determined by the deviation between the target speed and the current speed of the motor. CONSTITUTION: The warm-up counting control method of hybrid vehicle includes the steps of: checking the motor starting which confirms whether driving motor is started to drive engine that is stopped; checking driving motor starting standard condition which confirms if the starting standard condition is satisfied when the driving motor speed is higher than driving standard speed when the driving motor is started; checking soaking time satisfaction which confirms the time when engine was stopped is more than the soaking time if the driving motor starting condition is met; judging starting completion which updates the initial cooling water temperature after resetting the starting completion standard bit which decides whether the initial cooling water temperature is updated when the engine is stopped for more than the soaking time and then is run.

A method for improving the departure after the idle stop of a hybrid LPI vehicle comprises the steps of (S100) determining whether a starter key is turned on or not at an interface box controlling the operation of an electronic fuel pump and the pressure of a fuel line; (S200) determining whether an engine stops or not if the starter key is turned on; (S300) determining whether it is in the idle stop state or not if the engine stops; and (S400) controlling the electronic fuel pump according to the PWM first stage if the engine is in the idle stop state, so as to allow the electronic fuel pump to be operated continuously.
