    • A post-lateral alarm system is provided to reduce vehicular accident in motion because the monitoring section of the post-lateral alarm system is changed according to motion state of a vehicle. A post-lateral alarm system comprises a sensor unit(200) which watches the post-lateral of a vehicle(100); and a controller(300) which changes the sensor unit into a mode for short distance or a mode for long distance according to motion state of a vehicle. The mode for short distance watches a BSD (Blind Spot Detection) section and the mode for long distance watches a LCA/RPC (Lane change Assist/Rear Pre Crash) section. When the vehicle changes the lane or is predicted with the change of lane, the alarm system is converted into the mode for short distance. When the vehicle moves without the lane change, the alarm system is converted into the mode for long distance.
