    • PURPOSE: A variable lower arm unit for a suspension system is provided to prevent damage to a mounting member by dispersing the load. CONSTITUTION: A variable lower arm unit for a suspension comprises a main arm(11), a slider(13), a connection arm(15), an actuator, a modulating control valve(V), and a pressure sensors(25,27). The main arm is formed with the cylindrical beam and forms the guide slot in one side of the central member. One end of the connection arm hinge -connected through the guide slot to slider. The backend of the actuator is connected to a rearward mounting member(M2) of subframe. The leading end of the actuating rod is integrally connected with the other end of the connection arm. The modulating control valve supplies the actuating pressure of the actuator according to a signal of a controller(23).

    • A device and a method for controlling radium of gyration of a vehicle is provided to secure safety by not generating a control signal if speed of the vehicle is over a predetermined speed for a predetermined times. A device for controlling radius of gyration of a vehicle comprises an input switch, a speed sensor(40), a steering angle sensor(50), an engine control unit(10), a hydraulic pressure control unit(30), a first cylinder(70), and a second cylinder(80). The engine control unit is electrically connected with the speed sensor and the steering angle sensor, and generates a control signal to control radius of gyration of the vehicle. The hydraulic pressure control unit receives the control signal of the engine control unit, and controls hydraulic pressure. The first cylinder receives hydraulic pressure from the hydraulic pressure control unit, and moves an assist arm. The second cylinder receives hydraulic pressure from the hydraulic pressure control unit, and moves a lateral arm.

An apparatus for correcting mass difference between left and right front suspensions for a vehicle comprises a mass bar(20) installed in a sub-frame(11) of the front suspension and an actuator(30) coupled to the mass bar to control the horizontal position of the mass bar. Mass sensors(S) are installed on a driver's seat and a passenger's seat, respectively, to measure the weight of driver and passenger. An ECU(Electronic Control Unit) calculates the measured value. The pressure difference in actuator coupled to the mass bar is adjusted to change the horizontal position of the mass bar using a HCU(Hydraulic Control Unit).
