    • PURPOSE: An inertia changing type damping apparatus for torsion vibration is provided to have regular natural frequency for a torsion vibration damper regardless of change of temperature by offsetting changes of natural frequency with changes of inertia. CONSTITUTION: An inertia changing type damping apparatus of torsion vibration includes a buffing portion(10); a changing portion(14) and a mass portion(16). The buffing portion is composed of buffers as rubber type to support a rotating shaft on a middle portion by inserting the rotating shaft to a through hole(12). The changing portions makes change of inertia with changing a gravity center according to a movement of mass by changing thermal expansion according to change of temperature inside the buffing portion. The mass portion is combined to an outer peripheral surface of the buffing portion and the changing portion. The buffing portion has many through holes(10a) to receive the changing portion. The changing portion comprises thermal expansion materials(14a), a mass body(14b) and a protruded wall(14c). Thereby, natural frequency is maintained regardless of changes of temperature by changing inertia when a spring constant is changed because of change of temperature.

    • PURPOSE: A torsion vibration damper is provided to keep damper natural frequency by changing inertial moment of an outer ring in proportion to the change of a spring constant of a rubber varied according to temperature change or repressing the change of the spring constant. CONSTITUTION: A torsion vibration damper is composed of an inner ring(10) mounted to a rotary shaft; an outer ring(11) spaced from the inner ring; and a rubber(12) fixed between the inner and outer rings. The outer ring is formed into two layers comprising an inner metal(11a) with low thermal expansion ratio and an outer metal(11b) with high thermal expansion ratio. In addition, the outer ring has U-shaped protruded portions(13) facing each other. An intermediate ring is disposed between the inner ring and the rubber to form a space between the inner ring and the intermediate ring. The space is filled with wax. A passage and a space connected to the passage are arranged between the intermediate ring and the rubber.
