    • A method and a terminal for measuring a position using a ground singular emitter are disclosed. A position measuring terminal comprises: an emitter signal reception module to receive an emitter signal including a GPS coordinate of a ground emitter and emitter sight from one ground emitter; an emitter azimuth detection module to detect the azimuth of the received emitter signal; and a terminal position calculation module to calculate a position coordinate of the position measuring terminal using the azimuth sight and the GPS coordinate included in the emitter signal and the azimuth of the detected emitter signal. The method and the terminal for measuring the position using the ground singular emitter have an effect for measuring the current position of the position measuring terminal by measuring a distance until the ground singular emitter and by measuring the azimuth of the ground singular emitter through receiving a signal from the ground singular emitter. The method and the terminal have a good point which is regardless of the disturbance of the GPS signal of a known frequency band. In addition, the method and the terminal has an effect to measure an accurate distance by comparing the altitude of the ground singular emitter and the altitude of the current position measuring terminal.
