    • Provided are a method and apparatus for constructing SFN by the time synchronization of ETI signals outputted from different ensemble multiplexers. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the ETI signal which is time-synchronized with a specific ETI signal is outputted by the synchronization of time-synchronization related parameters included in the ETI frame even if a basic hierarchy and an improvement hierarchy are outputted from different ensemble multiplexers in an AT-DMB system. Therefore, by using the method and apparatus for ETI time synchronization according to the embodiment of the present invention, costs due to the addition of an AT-DMB exclusive ensemble multiplexer are reduced because an existing T-DMB ensemble multiplexer can be recycled in the construction of AT-DMB SFN.

CONSTITUTION: A running method of signal receiving apparatus in MIMO-OFDM systems comprises the following steps: converting signal of input radio frequency band into baseband signal by a RF processing unit(50); outputting parallel frequency domain symbols of a plurality of subcarriers by fast Fourier transform(FFT) of the baseband signal by an OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) demodulation unit(60); applying an algorithm which reduces condition number for channel matrix formed between a transmitter and a receiver by a channel estimation unit(70) using the plurality of subcarriers; calculating new virtual channel matrices by the channel estimation unit; and applying QRD-M detecting technique to the parallel frequency domain symbols and the virtual channel matrices by a signal detection unit(80).
