    • A base station transmitting apparatus in a mobile communication system, a transmission method thereof, a terminal receiving apparatus, and a communication method thereof are provided to enable a terminal in a good channel state to obtain an associated gain by feeding back all channel information and to enable a terminal in a bad channel state to reduce the volume of feedback information by feeding back only useful channel information. A terminal receiving apparatus, which communicates with a base station in a mobile communication system having a multi-path wireless channel environment, comprises a path estimator(221), a channel estimator(210), an average predictor(223), a distributed predictor(224), a long-period channel information creator(222), and a transmitter(230). The path estimator(221) estimates Rx paths from received signals. The channel estimator estimates channels for the estimated Rx paths. The average predictor creates the average prediction channel information after the minimum transmission delay time, based on the estimated channels. The distributed predictor creates distributed prediction channel information using the average prediction channel information. The long-period channel information creator creates the average SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) and the statistical information of the error of the average prediction channel information respectively using the estimated channels and the average prediction channel information. The transmitter transmits one or more among the average prediction channel information, the distributed prediction channel information, the number of the Rx paths, the average SNR, and the statistical information to the base station.
