    • PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of ceramic cores used in vacuum precision casting of complicated shaped- or hollowed-products process is provided, which improves dimensional preciseness and product quality, and shortens the process by gel casting through radical polymerization in aqueous media. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing method of ceramic cores for vacuum precision casting is as follows: preparing a ceramic mixture solution by dispersing high concentration ceramic mixture containing 73-77wt.% of fused silica, 18-22wt.% of zircon and 4-6wt.% of cordierite into solvent(ethyl alcohol) containing 3-4wt.% of monomer, 0.6-0.8wt.% of dimer and 0.4-0.6wt.% of polyelectrolyte dispersant such as alginic acid and polyacrylic acid; casting at 20-25deg.C for 1-3min to be hydrated gel compacts; releasing; drying and optionally adding 0.063-0.084wt.% of ethyl alcohol to prevent fatigue arising from dry shrinkage; thermal-hardening; sintering at 950-1050deg.C for 2-3hrs.
