    • PURPOSE: A redox couple-supported nanoparticle is provided to have a lot of redox couples in the pores or surface of a nanoparticle, thereby increasing the density of a redox couples and suppressing crossover of the redox couples. CONSTITUTION: A redox couple-supported nanoparticle(200) is manufactured by dipping a micropore-containing nanoparticle(210) in a solution containing a redox couple(220) for redox flow batteries and drying the result. A redox flow battery comprises a positive electrode cell(120) which includes a positive electrode(121) and a positive electrolyte(122); a negative electrode cell(110) which includes a negative electrode(111) and a negative electrolyte; and an ion exchange film(130) which is located between the positive electrode cell and negative electrode cell. The positive electrolyte and/or negative electrolyte include the redox couple-containing nanoparticles. [Reference numerals] (AA) Electron movement;
