    • PURPOSE: Provided are a process for producing protein bonded to the surface of a genetic carrier, and a method for improving protein, a method for separating special material, a bioconversion method, and a method for producing an antibody by using the process for producing the protein. CONSTITUTION: The process for producing the protein bonded to the surface of the genetic carrier contains the steps of: transforming a host cell containing the genetic carrier selected from the group consisting of a spore or a virus into a vector containing a gene encoding the protein; culturing the transformed host cell and expressing the protein in the host cell; showing the protein on the surface of the genetic carrier by non-covalent bonding the expressed protein to the surface of the genetic carrier. The protein is selected from the group consisting of hormone, enzyme, an enzyme inhibitor, signal transduction protein, an antibody, an antigen, cytokine, blood coagulating factor, and etc.

    • PURPOSE: A method for expression of proteins on spore surface is provided, thereby effectively solving problems of the prior methods, and consequently producing the spore surface protein expression system having improved stability to physicochemical changes. CONSTITUTION: A method for expression of proteins on spore surface comprises the steps of: (i) preparing a vector for spore surface display comprising a gene construct containing a gene encoding spore coat protein and a gene encoding a protein of interest, wherein, when expressed, the gene construct expresses a fusion protein between the spore coat protein and the protein of interest, (ii) transforming a host cell with the vector for spore surface display; (iii) displaying the protein of interest on a surface of a spore of the host cell; and (iv) recovering the spore displaying on its surface of the protein of interest.

    • PURPOSE: Stabilized biocatalysts and methods of bioconversion using the same biocatalysts are provided, which stabilized biocatalysts are displayed on the spore or virus surface, so that the stabilized biocatalysts can be continuously reused for a long period of time, have various resistances to the extreme environments, and be applicable to various bioconversion reactions. CONSTITUTION: The method for bioconversion comprises the steps of: (a) constructing a vector for spore surface display comprising a gene construct containing a gene encoding a biocatalyst and a gene encoding a display motif, wherein the gene construct expresses the display motif and the biocatalyst in a fusion form and the biocatalyst is displayed on the spore surface when it is expressed; (b) transforming a host cell with the vector for spore surface display; (c) displaying the biocatalyst on the spore surface of the host cell; (d) recovering the spore displaying the biocatalyst on its surface; and (e) performing a bioconversion reaction using the spore displaying the biocatalyst on its surface, wherein the spore is derived from a spore-forming Gram negative bacterium including Myxococcus, a spore-forming Gram positive bacterium including Bacillus, a spore-forming Actionmycete, a spore-forming yeast or a spore-forming fungus; and the display motif is derived from a spore coat protein.

    • A monoclonal antibody against pre-S1 of hepatitis B surface antigen is provided to overcome side effects on human body caused by chimeric antibodies and humanized antibodies derived from mouse antibodies and also overcome the difficulty of supplying raw materials of antibodies isolated from blood and infection by virus harmful to human body. The monoclonal antibody against pre-S1 of hepatitis B surface antigen is characterized in that it is prepared by a method comprising the steps of: (a) constructing a library human antibody fragment; (b) selecting an antibody fragment which specifically reacts on the pre-S1 of the hepatitis virus B through panning using a BIAcore from the library; and (c) identifying the neutralizing capability of the selected antibodies from the step(b) outside the body. The step(a) comprises the substeps of: (a-1) isolating lymphocyte from peripheral blood of 50 normal adults and purifying total RNA; (a-2) constructing a first strand cDNA from the RNA and performing polymerase chain reaction on human antibody gene; (a-3) preparing an electrocompetent cell; and (a-4) completing a single chain Fv(scFv) library.
